Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage or MLD is a very light pressure therapeutic massage. It encourages excess fluid to be absorbed and moved by the lymphatic system. The fluid is then returned to the blood and eliminated as waste. This massage technique is helpful for anyone who suffers from Edema, Lymphedema, swelling and many other conditions. Oncology Massage
Oncology Massage is meant to help clients who are currently being treated for cancer or are a cancer survivor. Check with your oncologist about the best time to receive this comforting therapeutic massage. This appointment should be made several days before or after treatment. Swedish Massage is a massage technique used by most licensed massage therapists. It uses a gentle to medium pressure and is performed to help with stress, muscle relaxation, and other problems.
